I just sealed the envelope today and have sent my PR application off to Sydney! A celebratorial day!

Update: Package arrived at Sydney, now the waiting game begins.

Looking at other threads, it looks like if we are lucky eng3a 4-5wks after our applications arrive in Sydney the payment will be taken, and hopefully AOR's 1-3wks after that.

I just wanted to change my recieved date to Oct 9th. I got the tracking number from my case manager. Also I was wondering. I sent my application with a certified cheque. I've read many people talking about them taking payment. Is that because some people are paying by credit card?

Tab mashy Shokran. I was confused, because many people were talking about the payment being made, but I already had a cheque. I guess most people are paying by credit card.

Please check with your bank regarding the status of cheque sent
since you have submitted by 0ct 09, it's better to get in touch with them after a week time

August applications were really fortunate to have AOR within 3 -4 weeks.
But in the case of September - the progress is little slow compared to August. It takes almost a month for payment itself and another 2-3 weeks to get AOR. But compared to June, July months the timeline is better.
As far as I observed there is no regular pattern and it depends month to month, case to case.

I don't think I can. It was a certified cheque, so the money is already taken out of my account.

Even I have sent a draft, in which money is already deducted.

Still I am checking with my bank once in few days to check the status whether it has been encashed or outstanding.
