Hi Mrs.
Hope a good chance for you, and for me as well :)
I didn't send my application to Quebec yet, could you make me a favour and give me just the name of the forms I must send (just to verify that I am right) and also please the address where we have to send them in Quebec>
Thank you so much in advance

Got CSQ. Took 4 weeks , just like the website says!

The forms I sent in are
1) A-0546-GF (must be filled out 2x)
2) A-0520-BF
Hydro bill (proof of residential address) and copy of passport

The application for selection certificate MUST be filled out in french. The English one will not be accepted. I filled in everything in French just to be on the safe side.

There is a document checklist on the MICC website. You don't have to submit it with the application just go over it to be sure.

The address for CSQ apps is

Direction du courrier et de l'encaissement - Immigration Familiale
285, rue Notre-Dame, 4 etage
Montreal, Quebec H2Y 1T8

Thank you so much Mrs.
Thank you so much SD1234
Good luck for you all.

Merry Christmas!! May everyone have a prosperous new year and quick results for their PR applications.

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen and to Mr and Mrs Santa Claus
I sent my inland spousal application off on October 26, 2012 and I got an email on December 22, that they have have received my application and they began processing it on December 21, 2012. I have a concerned though because when my wife checked the Ecas this morning there was not made any mention of my medical that i submitted in August. In the email I got from CIC included a UCI and an immigration file number. What does this mean for me in terms of the the application?

Hi guys!

I have some questions and I need you help, please...

My wife is canadian by descendant and she never lived in Quebec or in Canada... Who lives in Quebec is her father and 3 brothers. We have already received the approval of Mississauga.

I read that CSQ takes 32 days on average to arrive. My forms (KIT A) arrived in Quebec on 19/11/2012, but I haven't received anything until now (30/12/2012), so I've been waiting for it for 47 days.

As far as know, she need just be a Canadian citizen to sponsor me: "You can sponsor a close relative if you are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident living in Québec, you are at least 18 years of age and you satisfy the prerequisites." (immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/immigrate-settle/sponsors-sponsored/requirements-sponsor/index.html)

- Even if Quebec deny my CSQ, my PR process will continue? I mean, Quebec MUST accept me?
- Could I live in Quebec without CSQ?
- About the Quebec answer, they send us by email too or just a letter?

My timetable....

Outside Process - Visa office: Sao Paulo

- Medicals - 04.09.2012 > send - 25.09.2012 > received - 01.10.2012 > Stage 1 AOR - 26.10.2012 > approval - 29.10.2012 > ...
- CSQ. send - 05.11.2012 > received - 13.11.2012 > payment - 20.11.2012 > ...

Thank you in advance, and happy new year!!

Big news guys, DECISION MADE by the Seoul Office, they started processing it on 26th December. Oh God my stomach is turning.

WOW that was quick! Lucky you ... some of us have to wait months to get there...
I was wondering when did they update ur online status on ecas? mines been stuck for weeks!

The ecas status had been stuck at 'we received your application on October 22nd' then yesterday updated to 'we started processing your file on December 26th, a decision has been made and we have contacted you in writing'. It is bank holiday here so hopefully the letter will arrive tomorrow. Fingers crossed. Total of 69 days from app landing in Canada to decision made in Seoul.

My understanding is that it really depends on the class of your visa. If you are on a spousal visa to a Canadian wife, this is a federal-wide visa and allows for the 'right to mobility' as you would have as a citizen. In theory this means that after receiving PR, you are able to relocate to Quebec.

The specific requirements for Quebec are more to do with skilled workers and those being sponsered by the province itself. As long as you arrive in a different province (Ontario for example) you will register as a PR of Canada. From there, your right to mobility will allow you to move wherever you wish in Canada. Arriving in Quebec may lead to a few complications but I am not certain about this.

My wife and I will hopefully land in New Brunswick and stay there until we are settled and then if all is well, move to Quebec. Good luck.

You only need the CSQ if you plan to live in Quebec immediately upon arrival and plan to to land in Quebec. Otherwise, you can arrive in any other province and move to Qc later.

BritishInKorea and Mrs.

Thanks a lot... My plan is to live in Quebec immediately, but lets see what happen.
I've heard from a brazilian girl who is appling for the same process, that here in Brazil it's taking about 60 days to arrive the CSQ! She told me she called to them, and they said that it's happening due to the amount of process and also because some holidays. I'll call them this week to know about it, but it's a good news in a certain extent.

Thank you again, good luck and a WONDERFUL new year!

COPR arrived an hour ago, APPROVED!!

I can't believe how quick it has been (2 months since app filed), I wish to same to all you guys - good luck!
