Haven't been on here in a while, Just wanted to update you guys, my husband received his AOR from the Vienna office on Nov 14th, exactly 15 days after the sponsorship approval.. What is next?! How long are we looking at?! All of this speediness is getting me optimistic that it might all be over soon.. but Im probably wrong.... also STILLL cannot sign into ecas, Ive tried everrrything!

Wow. That is extremely quick. It coulld all be over with sooner than you think. I hopw for you it does because I know for the next 6 to 16 months I will be checking ecas daily and working on my patience. I have heard many people say that they have had mistakes on their ecas log in. Whoever enters it at CIC messes up a birthdate or forgets a letter in the name. I would try both yours, and your husbands info and if neither work, call CIC to see what's going on. I believe you should be able to log in by now. After I received my stage 1 approval I could log in two days later. Good luck!!

I will ask my wife to call CIC today to know the status. It's more than 30 days now since we filed to CIC-M.

We have the receipt number which got generated when we paid online.

Should I ask them the file number , UCI..... Then what r the information I can get from them ??

If it's in process they'll give you the UCI number. I remember my husband called twice but he didn't get anything the first time, on the second time, we got at least an UCI number which wasn't very useful anyway because ECAS wasn't updated until after he got approval. At least, we got peace of mind to know our application was under review I guess.

I just ask because I logged into ecas and it said decision made, then when I clicked on it, it said this:

We sent you a letter on November 15, 2012 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

If I give them a call will they tell me to just wait for the letter, or can they tell me what the decision is over the phone?

I have the same case as yours.mine just dated oct29 but until now i still havent received my approval letter.and its already 2x that i called them about it since they told me to call in 2weeks if i still havent received it. Aw.what's happening to our approval letters. They're kinda lost.

As markym just explained it seems that CIC is finding it difficult to send a simple mail or email to people!!!!! Unfortunately there is nothing we can do but to wait.
