Its been 38 days now and still waiting for my approval..

Hello Mandy,

I know what the CIC website says regarding London VO. What I was answering was Ross' question in theory about how long it maybe. Those 8 months quoted by CIC are for a case that would not be in good order or may involve a non visa exempt person going through London. If you look at my signature it has a link to the spreadsheet for London throughout this year and you can see general waiting times for stage 1, stage 2 and combined. 100 days is pretty much the minimum and 160 days seems to be about the maximum (of everybody on the spreadsheet) unless you are non visa exempt.

That said obviously London VO is dealing with more cases than is on our spreadsheet but the spreadsheet is merely indicative of what time others have taken and what you might be facing in the future.

Sorry to confuse things! I'm very reassured by your response about waiting times. I guess the 8 months has to take everyone into consideration like you say. We were really worried about the prospect of having to wait 8 months so I feel much better about the times you mention. Thank you!

Since I last posted I've discovered the spreadsheet (and so has my wife) and I just added our status today (waiting 28 days so far). Congrats to everyone who's got their approval quickly, and here's hoping the rest of us October people will be processed quickly. We're also looking forward to the quarterly update for Stage 2 waiting times, which should be in the next few days I think.

I called the call centre today since we are now past the processing time. The good thing is that she pulled up my file and said that its in process. At least thats reassurance that they havent lost or mangled it. She told me that everything is fine.
I should have asked for my UCI but forgot. wait time to get to a human was about 10 minutes at 2 pm EST.

At least now you know your file is in their hands .I can imagine you forgot about the UCI .MIne is not working I tried.Good Luck and wish you all have a good response soon.

I've had a feeling all afternoon, and I just got the email that I've been approved as a sponsor!! Unfortunately due to issues we've been sent to the Dakar office instead of Ottawa.

AOR email comes from this address: client-update-mise-a-jour @ cic.gc.ca
Approval email comes from this address: cpcm-extcom @ cic.gc.ca

Thank you Toronto88! We still haven't received an "official" AOR but my husband has been approved for sponsorship, 35 days after submitting our app! Thanks to your post, I was able to bug him every day to look for it until it came.

So thought I'd update.....been waiting 39 days and was starting to think something was wrong, it is in my case.
When we sent our application my husband realised we had missed 1 signature out, we sent the form the next morning and both the form and application were received the same day. But it would seem that the form hasn't been put with the application. We have been given an immigration officer and responded to let them know we sent the form, it must be in there office somewhere?! I hope they find it or if we have to resend it that's fine, I just hope this doesn't delay too much. 85 days till my husband leaves Glasgow without me, I want to be with him as soon as I can. Xxx

Has anyone managed to log into ecas yet? I've tried a few times like it said on the AOR email, but it hasn't worked. Is that just because it's not actually being processed yet?

rosskilgour Ive tried too ,nothing happened I ve been wondering y but Im waiting to have the sponsorship approval .Cant wait to be with my husband its so difficult to be without him this long distance is driving us crazy now.we are no more patient

Hi Ross yes I tried my ecas application receive and my medical results received.. good luck for all of us here

Hi.. Thank God Stage 1 is over for us..
My husband just got his Approval thru email and it stated there that the letter will not be re-issued..
