Hello, just would like to share my timeline as well. CIC sent me an email last Nov. 3 that they received my application at Mississauga last Oct 17. They sent me another email today that it is approved and they forwarded it to Manila.

Hi.. Congratulations... Where is your destination in Canada? I am going to add you in our spreadsheet... I'm an October-Pinoy Applicant also..

Thanks..I was really worried because during the time that I passed my application to sponsor, I was unemployed because I moved from Vancouver to Saskatoon. I did write a letter to explain my current situation and I'm so glad that they considered it. I already have a job now though and I sent a letter from my new employer to CIC last nov. 5th but I guess it doesn't matter now because I got approved even though they didn't receive it yet

It'll come. I had a friend who applied last september 12 and she said she didn't receive any email or letter from the embassy that said they received their application. She just got an email that she was approved as a sponsor last Oct 12 and that it was already forwarded to Manila. Or you might want to check your spam folder just in case for some reason it went there.

I got my sponsorship approval today! Congrats to everyone else who also got sponsorship approval! I have not been able to access ecas yet. But I am fine with the letter! Ahh so happy. Onto the long, hard part!

Thanks everyone. I am so excited. I have just noticed that there is another October thread.. maybe it's 2011.. I didn't really check. Anyways, I hope everyone who hasn't been approved yet gets there letter VERY soon! Good luck to us all!

It's been almost a month but sadly I haven't heard anything from them yet.

Are you supposed to receive by mail or email? Because I'm sure the mail takes longer. But if you are supposed to hear by email, and haven't yet then that seems strange!! Do you check your junk mail regularly? Because both my AOR and sponsorship approval have come to my junk mail. I am sure it is all going according to plan.

Congratulations everyone! haha i am still waiting for my approval letter though ive confirmed from them already that got approved. Hope that's how fast it is for all of us. Godbless everyone!
