You can pay for all those, but CP will still deliver to a PO Box even with priority, you just won't get a signature. I remember reading a post on this forum about someone asking about that a little while ago.KJG said:I believe their priorty post is considered courier service since you can have overnight delivery, track and get signature.
I sent both CIC app and MICC app with Canada Post 2 day service, and got a signature for both!chipits said:You can pay for all those, but CP will still deliver to a PO Box even with priority, you just won't get a signature. On the other hand, FedEx and all that will flat out refuse to deliver to the box, hence the different address!
I really doubt you'd run into any problems if you mailed a package through Canada Post to the courier address though, either way!
Getting signature is waste of your money! I did the same thing because the Canada Post rep told me it's better this way! But stupid me didn't realize the address is a PO box so no one is going to be there to sign the item when CP delivers it! I got the delivery email from CP saying N/A for signature :-XAvana said:I sent both CIC app and MICC app with Canada Post 2 day service, and got a signature for both!

You will hear something soon! I am sure of it!! He processing times are only 35 days right now. So exciting. We will allhear soon!chipits said:Ohhhh awesome I sent mine the day after you, so hopefully I'll get my email soon
I am not positive on this but had you added the sponsor as a representative then you are correct you would receive all communications with CIC directly. If you have the time and your Husband is happy for you to do so, it is not a bad idea, in fact I would go so far as to say it is a very good idea. If your case drags on or if at any time you become inquisitive about your file and want to order your case notes then I believe you will be able to do it without having to mess about with consent forms from your husband. I know it is a small detail but it can work out easier. 1 slight downside I assume (once again, this is a guess) that when they finally issue COPR then it will be mailed to yourself and you will have to forward on to your husband if you applied outland, obviously if you applied inland it makes no difference.longdistanceloves said:I have another question. Did anyone use the sponsor as the principal applicants representative? (Did you use yourself as your spouse's representatice?) I want to know what would be the prod of doing so because there is still a chance to add myself as my husband representative. I know if I were his representative I would receive all communications instead of him, but what else?
