Hi, I didn't have a problem changing my name to my husband's name. Everything except my passport and PR card is now under my married name. I just went to my bank and showed my marriage cert, same with my SIN and health card. Pag nagrenew ako ng passport ko it will be under my hubby's name na din.

hello sorry now lang ako nakareply... thanks sa info po. Tanong ko lang was your marriage certificate from philippines din? If that's the case then i can get SIN with my husband's name kahit di ko machange name ung PR card ko?

Yup. I just showed them the marriage certificate issued by NSO and they changed everything. Mageexpire na din kasi passport ko this year so hinihintay ko na lang na pwede na ko magrenew then it will have my husband's name na din.

Just curious lang. Thanks.

Hi to all,

May question po ako sa mga nakakaalam about sa travel and tours site na cheapoair.com,
kailangan po ba talaga na US Visa holder ka para makapagpabook ng flight bound to Canada?

My husband and I had a huge argument >:( about this site, kasi he planned to come here and pick me up then i suggest this cheapoair.com site to him to try to book our flight going back to canada together but he said hindi daw pwede kame magpabook ng flight sa site na yun (chepoair.com) kasi lahat daw ng flights dumadaan sa US,kaya hindi ako pwede dahil hindi naman daw ako US Visa holder. So,sabi niya what it make sense to pick me up kung magkahiwalay naman daw kami ng airplane na sasakyan.kaya i really wanna know how true his statement was , so I could accept his decision and prove that he was really right.. :-\ :'( ???

PLS I NEED SOME GOOD OPINION ABOUT THIS.

Your response will be highly appreciated.. :)

Thank you so much and God bless us!!!!

hi!
Just to share u my experience, hope this helps.
My husband looked to all site when he booked me, i myself got to cheapoair site to get some flight details for him when he asked me to. But for some reason, my husband was hesitant to book me and he decided to inquire first to a travel agency. So, he found out that a flight that has a stopover to US or out of Asian country cannot be booked for me because of our philippine passport. He found a good deal at expedia.com connecting flight from Hongkong and now I'm here. Yes its true that blue passport holders are the ones who can have a flight crossing US... you are welcome! God bless you too! :)

you must have a a US something( di ko matandaan kung ano tawag dun heheh) para makapagstopover sa US .. kapag Philippine passport hawak mo . inde pede cinabi rin sakin yan ng Travel Agency na binilhan ko ng ticket.. kaya make sure ang mga ticket na binibili nyo kahit expedia pa sya na walang US stop over.. it means Tama ang MIster mo...

I simply recommend you travel directly Manila to Vancouver through Philippine Airlines, its a good flight and direct. Avoid any complications of travelling through the US
