congrats! im sure it will come soon. just keep on praying and be positive so that positive things will come our way :)

Ask ko lang juncess.. is it possible na mag update ecas mo to medical received kahit wala ka pang ppr? of course using sponsor's uci number and details. parang may nababasa kasi ako dito na ganun eh.. wla pa nga yung ppr niya nag change na status nila to medical received? e di ba sa ppr mo lang makikita yung sarili mong uci no. or file number?

Hi! I am also compiling our requirements and documents so we can submit them next month. Some questions lang po:

1. Is it ok if the pictures will be organized and printed on bond papers with captions in some of them to indicate what happened/ where we went, etc? I was thinking it would cause so much money to print the pictures individually and paste them on paper.

2. Our wedding is next month in Canada so I am gathering all requirements possible from Manila so that we can submit the application right after the wedding. This includes the NBI clearance. Right now, since hindi pa kami kasal, my maiden name will be reflected in the NBI Clearance. Is that ok? Or do I need to get another NBI Clearance after we get married reflecting my husband's name?

Super thanks!

hi you are welcome here! Congrats in advance to your upcoming Wedding!
About your questions, may i ask first how you will process your papers? Is it inside Canada or outside Canada? Most of us here are outside Canada through Canadian Embassy, Manila.
For your question no. 1 - In your application papers there is a questionaire of spouse in which you will indicate there about what happened to your engagement, where you went for a trip or honeymoon, and your wedding, etc...then it's noted there to provide pictures. For us with my husband, we just developed all the important ones, its cheap naman 6 pesos per copy. I think we have sent a total of 25 pictures. We did not put captions nor paste it in a bond paper cause it's not indicated in the guideline and the pics itself describe it. In my opinion, printing it in a bond paper will not really show that that is a formal evidence. It doesn't matter how you will arrange it, my husband arranged it by following the appendix A checklist. We even include there our wedding invitation, cards, wedding program, and cards from our sponsors.

*Friendly reminder for you- be sure to read the guidelines while filling up the forms.

For your no. 2 question - Are you coming back here in Philippines? well, everything should be consistent in your docs. Always follow your name in your passport, kaya for sure maiden name mo pa gagamitin mo sa lahat ng forms at sa NBI mo... it's up to you if you want to use your husband's family name naman pero matatagalan ka... kaya gamitin mo nalang maiden name mo sa lahat... wala naman kaso un.

Hope this helps! :D
God Bless your Application!

guys.. i just want to ask something.. I've been to Taiwan last 2004 for 3 years. before I went back home, I secured a police clearance in Taipei. My question is..Would it be still valid? or do I need to get a new one? Please advice.. thanks

Police Clearance has only 12 months validation on your hand but if you send it together your Application the expiration is no longer exist or counted.

Guys I need help, my sis received my letter from CEM it says URGENT last Feb 15 but it was dated Feb 14 together with PPR request, Appendix A and Personal History how do I start writing in most recent or in the past?

You are welcome! nakakakaba ba ang soon to be ikakasal???
Magstay ka nalang ba sa CAnada hanggang marecieve mo dito sa pinas ung Passport request letter mo? i think that would be good idea para makasama mo asawa mo ng mejo matagal...mahirap magkahiwalay pag nasa honeymoon stage... hehehe... :D

Actually, uuwi pa muna ako dito sa Pilipinas to work while waiting for the DM na. hopefully madali lang ang processing ng papers namin at makuha ko agad yung Visa. Here's to positive thinking! :)
