Nope! It's the first marriage for both of us, and we don't have any criminal records, no kids. We're pretty straightforward. Sooo frustrating.livelife said:hi megacity,
I am from Manila 2011 applicant too. Did you have problems in your application that it took it longer than usual to issue the visa? I too, am waiting for the approval. I am September 2011 applicant.
manila visa office asked to send the passport in start or in the middle of application unlike other visa office..melouttamegacity said:Although we also applied in October, I think I'm waaaay behind you all.
I just checked my status today online, and this is what it says:
Received application - Oct 27 2011
Approved application to sponsor husband - Jan 24, 2012
Started processing application - JULY 14, 2012?!?!
What the heck is that about? But they did ask my husband for his passport in Feb, which he sent to them at the beginning of March. It just doesn't seem to make sense.
Is that a good thing or a bad thing?kurt said:manila visa office asked to send the passport in start or in the middle of application unlike other visa office..
