hi all mate,
Does anyone from Qubec province applied in Oct 2011 (spouse sponsorship) in Missi, canada?
Outside canada visa office in Singapore?
Anyone approved sponsorship but not received any approval letter from cic still now?
We are from qubec and we need this letter for apply for CSQ nad i have the same situation please help me if u know anything....

i just called them end jan 2012 they said its approved on dec 2011 but did not received any letter thats why im asking if u got any approval letter from them.

hi , Yes i received an email from them but no paper letter was mailed to me. The email indicated that my application has been approved and also they have updated the CIC site under my profile as "decision made" in my status.

When they send you the PPR, do you have to be in your country or can you be visiting your spouse in Canada at that time?
(Could you ask them to send it back to Canada or do you have to go back to your home country to send and receive the passport back)?
Just trying to plan my visits in Canada...

hi I'm in the same situation as you..we applied outland..my hubby called on Friday the call centre said they sent another request for the letter and he was told to check back in 2 weeks...

I am studying at the moment and I won't graduate until the end of 2013 do you think that could affect the decision of my visa? I am thinking they might not take my application seriously since they know I am still a student.

Note: Permanent residents residing abroad may not sponsor from outside of Canada. Canadian citizens travelling as tourists are not considered to be residing abroad.

Please let me know. I do have canada PR and currently outside canada I do have all the docs ready to be mailed to missisuaga. can I be able to submit my application?

I just sent in my application in late September and the application arrived at CPC-M on 3 October 2011....hopefully I will hear from them very soon. :-*

You can only sponsor someone while living outside Canada of you are a citizen of Canada. Permanent resident living outside Canada are not allowed to sponsor. I hope that helps.

I am returning to Canada on end of April. since I am not going to complete my sponsorship application from outside canada but retrning to canada on end of April. is it possible to mail my completed application to Mississauga right now so that I wont be loosing time. any idea? i really appreciate it

Yes, you should send it to Mississauga but make sure you write it in the form that you live in Canada. If you are returning to Canada by the end of April they should just be starting to work on it. Please make sure you are in Canada on time so that it won't affect your application.
