I took my oath this morning and finally become a Canadian. It has been a long journey.

They have worked very hard to make sure everybody's case processed in 12 months, so I think they deserve to sleep on the job, relax about 7 hours per day, and take a vacation until probably next year.

Completed my ceremony yesterday. Absolutely beautiful ceremony, incredibly nice and well spoken judge. ECAS shows Complete this morning.

3. We started processing your application on December 4, 2017.
4. We sent you correspondence on July 01, 2018. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
5. We sent you a notice on November 23, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on December 10, 2018 at 9:00 PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

Hey guys my application is still in process (14 month) and I had my test 2 months ago. Does it make sense to ask MP to doa follow up on my application?? I emailed CIC and they just said we confirm that your application is still in process! No more details. I am an OCT applicant from Calgary

Congrats. write test at 9 PM? That's probably a typo.

I'm an October 2017 applicant and finally did my test today at Scarborough. The interviewer at the end of the interview said that he has no concerns and that I should expect a citizenship ceremony invite in about 3-4 months. So the wait goes on. Lol.
