October 11th 2017 - Citizenship Applicants under 3/5 rule

Hi Everyone,

So I am approaching towards the 14th month of my application. I have contacted the Minister of Immigration and Citizenship last week. I got the following pre-typed email back from their office:

"Departmental records show that your application is currently on hold, pending completion of your background checks. As a result, citizenship officers have not been able to assess your case as quickly as they originally intended."

So fingers crossed as I have no idea how long further this could take. The waiting game is on!

When you check your ecas status does it say in process or on hold?

what is the update for your application? on GCMS notes does it says on hold coz mine was on hold for few months before it changed to In Process on GCMS notes

I made our request on October 4 (2018). I'm now considering making a 2nd request.

It says in Progress that's why it's confusing what they replied to me...

I have requested my notes again. I have notes before up to July and it was in progress on those notes...

Takes about a month. Once it tool 3 months in my case and i did complain

Waaaiiiting is the hardest part.
I finally submitted my supplementary US border report back in August.
Really wish they would get right down to it.
Now I experience even a delay in the Privacy Act request for ECAS notes.

Still waiting for the test, almost 14 mobnths now, their corrupt and discriminatory process is absolutely ridicules, and their answers are even more ridicules when you call them.
