Hi Everyone,

I emailed the Vancouver office to the process of my Oath letter urgent due to some family illness situation. I got the email back after three days as follows:

"Hello,
Thank you for your email. We are waiting on clearances to be passed. Unfortunately, we do not have an estimate as to when this will be completed as it is beyond our control.
Regards,
Vancouver Citizenship Office"

My understanding was that the Clearance is done before the Test and Interview. I have my computer notes about a month ago which mentioned that my Clearance was done before the test and interview date. Now they are doing the clearance again, this does not make sense. Does anyone else have the same problem?
Have you got decision made in your ecas yet?

I received a random "Quality Assurance Exercise And Request For Additional Evidence", even though there have been no trips abroad since landing. CIT0205 (11-2017) E - Physical Presence Questionnaire - Quality Assurance Exercise,

In addition, the following documents are requested:
  • Passports
  • Entry/Exit Records issued by other countries
  • Provincial/Territorial Personal Health Claims Summary
  • Rental or lease agreements
  • Letter from landlord confirming rental period
  • Property titles or Mortgage documents
  • Property tax assessments
  • Official school transcripts
  • TF Slips from CRA
  • Letters from employers describing each position held, date of hiring, work schedule
  • Records of employment from CRA
  • CRA Statements of Employment Insurance benefit periods
  • Statements of social assistance
  • Statements of disability assistance
  • 3 Letters from suppliers or clients
  • Incorporation documents
  • Advertising contracts
  • Contracts and invoices demonstrating a continuance o business activity
  • Business bank statements
  • Professional licence/membership card/permit to practice
  • A personal Canadian citizen reference who has known you for the past 2 years and can answer questions about you such as work, study, housing, sports, cultural or religious activities, volunteering
  • Fingerprints
I have 60 days from the date of the letter to respond.

I don't know if it is full blown RQ or something new from IRCC,
this form CIT-0205 always gets confused with CIT-0502 but in the form i received does mention CIT-0205 (11-2017) E
anyone received Cit-0205?
are you still waiting for test invite, please share your experiences, thank you

Hi Nazam, what email address did you use for vancouver office? or did you use the webform on CIC website?

HI Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone had the test around April 25th in Vancouver and still waiting for their Oath Letter? Its been over three months wait for the oath and I wanna see any trends. I would really appreciate this any reply.

I took my test beginning of March and still no DM 160+ passed

btw this " we do not have an estimate as to when this will be completed as it is beyond our control." means our app can go over 12 or even more than 12 months process, what do you guys think?

Yes, it can. 12 months is an average for routine cases, meaning some applications finish within 12 months, others take longer, especially if ones case is non-routine.
