October 11th 2017 - Citizenship Applicants under 3/5 rule

Same with me... I can't even blame my writting skills becoz we typed our application on computer...

Guys, I am also an October applicant and in the process since Nov 23rd, I ordered my GCMS reports twice and the only difference I see between the two is the change in secondary office. In the first GCMS report, my Primary office was Mississauga IRCC and the secondary office was St. Claire IRCC and now in the second report the secondary office has changed to IRCC GTA-CEN, which I have no clue where this office is? My test is pending Criminality Clearance which is going on since December last year and God Knows how long its gonna go for. Can anyone help me with this office name and where is it located?

I’m an October applicant still waiting for my test invite!! Call center agent told me that all my background checks were done expect prohibition and prohibition is under process from 31st July. So anybody have any clue when can I expect my test? Anyone like same as my situation?? No idea whether prohibition check take two weeks!!

Yes, it’s an eligibility check to determine whether I qualify for citizenship or not!!

I have no idea. I guess whether I met 1095 days for citizenship and cross check my address, work listed in my citizenship application. Not 100% sure though.

Mine everything is complete, infact all those from Oct applicants, for them everything is complete, its just the test on which we guys are waiting

Hi Everyone,

I emailed the Vancouver office to the process of my Oath letter urgent due to some family illness situation. I got the email back after three days as follows:

"Hello,
Thank you for your email. We are waiting on clearances to be passed. Unfortunately, we do not have an estimate as to when this will be completed as it is beyond our control.
Regards,
Vancouver Citizenship Office"

My understanding was that the Clearance is done before the Test and Interview. I have my computer notes about a month ago which mentioned that my Clearance was done before the test and interview date. Now they are doing the clearance again, this does not make sense. Does anyone else have the same problem?

If pr card expired can I apply pr card

Yes you can apply even if your PR is expired. The only thing is that you will need a valid PR card if you have to travel otherwise its fine.

You get the test invite before Decision Made. Decision Made is after In Process.
