October 11th 2017 - Citizenship Applicants under 3/5 rule

Hi Guys,

I am October Applicant, my ecas is showing Decision Made as of today, I am assuming it was updated yesterday since today is Canada Day and they are off.
 
Happy Canada Day to everyone. Congratulations to those who are taking their oath today, such a very memorable day for you guys.
 
Sirs, I become citizen today glorius canada day.

Congrats on becoming Citizen on Canada day, when did you get your Oath invitation?
 
Hello Everyone of this Forum,

I like to thank the forum administrators for their hard work & dedication for maintaining excel data sheet in most efficient way!
I achieved a milestone yesterday, became Canadian Citizen on Canada Day, in presence of Minister of Refugee & Immigration. It is a long journey which initiated in 2009 from PR application. Today I find my ECAS status "Complete" and 6th line has added "You became Canadian Citizen on July 1st ,2018". I can say, this journey is not smooth, there were many rough & tense situations. This forum helps us to share the knowledge and give confidence.
I want to share one thing this forum members that while calling CIC members, please explain your situations & indicate what kind of help you looking from them. Sometimes they will give you the hint to expedite the process.

This will help Surrey applicants based on my timeline.
  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on October 19, 2017.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on December 3, 2017.
  3. We started processing your application on January 10, 2018.
  4. We sent you a notice on March 12, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on April 25, 2018 at 1:00 PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
  5. We sent you a notice on June 4, 2018 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on July 1, 2018 at 9:15 AM. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
    *Note: Citizenship and Immigration Canada does sometimes schedule events on Saturdays or Sundays.

  6. You became a Canadian citizen on July 1, 2018.

I've had decision made on my ECAS since April 20th of this year. Quite frustrating to not have received the oath letter yet.
 
please update my file recieved request on june 12 to appear for citizenship exam on july 10th
 
Guys,

My ecas changed few days ago from in process to decision made. So how soon after that do they usually send the oath letter ??
