Believe it or not this last piece of citizenship puzzle, which is time between test to oath invite, is killing me.
lol -- I think waiting for PR was worse for me. At least with this, I know the outcome is inevitable and it's just a matter of time. With the PR, the stress of not knowing whether I was going to be able to stay in the country was way worse. Not that I had any issues, there was just more at stake with being granted PR vs being granted citizenship.

Hi all,

Just to give you guys update... Attended my citinzenship test at Calgary Office on March 15th. Test was easy scored 19 out 20. Done with the test in 5 min. We were asked to mention dates we will be travelling in next 3 months. Interview was short, Officer verify ID just checked the passport (read my father name on passport and asked if I ever had changed my name in the past. I told him that your reading my father's name on passport instead, He laughed and apologize to me) interview was short lasting less than 5 min. After the Interview I was told that everything is completed. Because I mentioned I will be in toronto for the next two months ( I had to attend a prarparatory course for my exam from March 22nd to May 23rd) and again have to travel on May 30th to June 2nd to Edmonton for exam). The officer told me that he will lock my file until June 2nd and booked me for first available date after that for oath ceremony.
Ecas status changed to Decision made on March 18th 2018
Oath Ceremony Invitation by email on April 20th 2018
Oath Ceremony date: June 8th 2018
Visa Office: Calgary

Finally, I have "Decision Made" today....

2.5 months after test.

For record: I had requested urgent processing on 6th April. I received reply on 12th april stating "Your request has been received and forwarded to the local office for review."

My timeline and location are available in excel spreadsheet. Hopefully, now, oath will be soon.

To moderator: I will post this across two more threads that I "watch". Hopefully, you won't see it as spam.

Looks like an itinerant services location with same day test/interview and oath. If so, obviously actually taking the oath is CONTINGENT on the outcome of the test (if applicable) and interview. This is a common itinerant services practice.
It was a joke, he applied oct 2018.

Hello,
could someone please update my info.
Application sent Oct 11 - delivered Oct 12. the rest with AOR and IP is correct. I am currently in Nov tracker because IRCC sent the application back of a mistake in the minors application form, but the adults were accepted by Oct 12 as per ECAS and confirmed with IRCC on the phone.
Thank you
Otherwise no news... waiting for test invite from Scarborough.
You probably seem to be Oct applicant then. SO you want to stay in November sheet or move your entry to October sheet.

Today i called CIC and agent told me that my 1st stage of background checks are done. Not sure how many stages are there....Any one has any idea ?
