Hey guys - i have a quick question.

After i got my PR, i had to undergo major surgery that was fully covered by OHIP.

Does anyone have any experience with this sort of situation, would this work against me for citizenship? The fact that the government had to pay for my major surgery as a permanent resident.

Your health condition has nothing to do with your citizenship to my knowledge, unless you screwed up the doctor, lol!

I received my GCMS notes today for my file that was received on 12-OCT (In Process on 14-NOV) it mentioned that criminality check was completed but my security check is still in progress. Do you know how long the security check take?

It's not predictable, nor is it a fixed duration. It depends from person to person and their background.

Best you can do is look at the due dates for these checks, also mentioned on the notes. Typically, these checks are completed before the due date.

Didn't they strip off security check details? If they did, how do you know it is still in progress?

Myself and my wife appeared the citizenship exam today and passed it. We both scored 20/20.
Important thing is that , I was asked PPQ/QAE and I submitted all information last month.
Interviewer told that she will get back to us with the Oath date in 1-2 months.
