I applied my citizenship on 18 oct. They received on 23 Oct. Sent back to me on 7th Nov with reason
A. Was not signed and dated.
B. Note: resubmit your application using the new form .


I applied with all new forms:
A. Cit 0002
B. Cit 0007
C. Physical calculator form
D. Two identical pictures dated and stamped by photograph shop
E. Proof of English
F. Biological papers of passport
G. Proof of fee
H. Proof of date of birth

I posted the following

ECAS Update: 3rd Dec ( For Both Parents as App Received )

• We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on October 19, 2017.

• We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on December 2, 2017

So my comment wasn't about LINK in email or address, it was about sending a generic email to who those who aren't supposed to take the tests..this is important as it can be confusing for some as they might wonder the rules say, not for over 55 but yet ECAS says sent the book

True it is a generic email, my 6 year old child AOR also had the link to the book ( i freaked out for the first 30 seconds, thinking how come they expect a little child to study that book..but then realized its generic)

That was exactly my point, it can be confusing for those who are not supposed to take the tests - albeit can be clarified but CIC already gives anxiety to many. My point was misconstrued as if the link is sent by email or physical address - at least read the comment b4 jumping in

It is strange that no one got AOR today. What does it imploys? It could mean that CIC is trying to locate and complete review of old applications (oct 12-18) before they process new applications.

They usually roll out in morning and in evening. Today they haven't rolled out in morning, so hopefully in evening (6pm - 8pm EST)

Maybe people who are not on the forum did get AORs today. Keep in mind, the sample size on the spreadsheet and in this forum is merely a small fraction of the actual number of applicants.

Finally, got the AOR today (application received on Oct 16). Scratching my head as to what took them so long to touch my application!

Finally received AOR today for my October 16 delivered application. AOR received for both of us(me and my spouse).

Someone please update the spreadsheet.

Now my next question, Should I update my application for Q13 for Immigration details, i.e. my H1 stay and H4 stay for my spouse in USA. I only mentioned my country of citizenship by birth only.
If so, how do I do that, any suggestion.
