Received AOR December 3rd 2017 just now.
Applications sent 16th October.
App received 19th Oct I'm very happy I was plaNing to reaply tommorow. My question is do they work on weekends? Because the email I received is just now .

Why? Nobody from October should be reapplying unless you receive your application back in the mail.

Or a quick 2 second search.

That is if you read the comment correctly, not assume what the person is saying - I quoted you and above gentleman in my previous post :)

I think CIC is still processing applications from Oct 16th to Oct 19th as apparent from the Forum. So unless application is sent back to the applicant, I do not think there is any point in re-applying. It will only complicate things down the line please.

What did I do now?! :D:D

Read first and then comment, It’s not my aor , I just asked that how come CIC sends notifications on weekends?

It is automated, all the emails go to a queue, and send automatically by their server. Sometimes it takes time for the server to clear the queue, and by the time it gets to your email, it is a holiday.

Humm do they never check the documents until IP ??

Well, a CIC staff check the documents, enter the information in the system and if it is complete, send a request to the server to send you the AOR. The request goes to the server's queue.

And name of that system is GCMS - Global Case Management System. They record everything in GCMS if your application is found complete. Otherwise they simply return your application.
