They just ask for photocopies... it’s pretty clear on the instruction guide, you just need to read it throughfully... all the answers are there...

Thank you very much for your reply. I meant not just submitting documents, in the whole process of getting citizenship including ceremony. I have heard from other sources, not sure 100% legit, that they stap your original COPR after you become citizen.

I'm sorry, but where exactly does it say that you need to provide the Confirmation of Permanent Residence? There is no mention of it in the checklist, and even the Instruction Guide does not mention it. I included it in the package together with copy of the PR Card as ID, but I don't see it anywhere that it is a must.

I have a query about Question 9c in the new updated citizenship application form.

9c During your eligibility period, did you live outside Canada?

I visited India and stayed there for 605 days in total during my eligibility period. Do I answer Yes or No to this question? Answering Yes requires me to Fill Form CIT 0177 which is only for people living outside as crown servant, or with a spouse. None of these two situations apply to me and I have enough days above the required number to be eligible already.

Please Advise.

I had written "Yes" in my application form, and submitted blank CIT 0177 form as they are not related to me. but i had written my full name, DOB, signed and dated in CIT 0177 form.

The new form for adult application removes the requirement for copy of CoPR. However, it remains on the form for minors (don't know why).

File received. Now what?
What should we wait for? Thanks
You mean delivered ? Wait a month for Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR) email. If you get it, means your application is complete and will be forwarded to your local IRCC office for processing. If not, it will be returned for being incomplete.
