October 11th 2017 - Citizenship Applicants under 3/5 rule

I will send my application on Oct 11 as soon as the new application forms and calculator are updated. Total days as of Oct 10 will be 1189 (1190 if we count Oct 11). I will be applying from Toronto

live in calgary with my family and eligible to apply for citizenship on 21 oct. under the new changes made by the govt.I have few questions to ask firstly how much time cic need for complete processing of the citzenship application secondly in june 18 i wanna go back home due to summer vactions of my kids. Should I apply on 21 Oct. Or the next year? if they will ask me for the knowledge test when i am out side the country then what will i do then ?its a great confusion for me any good suggestion will be appre

Good news: Calgary is a fast processing center! Bad news: There will be a lot applicants! Average processing time prediction: 14 months for Calgary....

I would like to ask your suggestion. I applied for Canadian citizenship and my application is already received by CIC. However, my spouse can apply on October 14, 2017 under previous rule. Is it better to apply on October 11 or October 14?

From what I know, after C6 comes into force on October 11, you cannot apply under C24 (old law), because forms will be replaced with the new ones.

You cannot apply under previous rule on Oct 14, because new rule comes into effect on Oct 11.
