Hi guys, my application is in process since dec 2nd. I called CIC and they mentioned that the background check is not done yet.
I've read on many posts that finger prints were requested. I'm wondering if that's the next stage I should be anticipating or test invite?

Maybe not “really” soon. lolIt means you'll get a correspondence of oath ceremony really soon
Its means IRCC made a decision on the application, now you need to sit back and wait for the Oath invite. If you are a Scarborough applicant be ready for a long wait, if you belong to any other office then you should be done in a few weeks.
How long is the wait in Regina after DM?
There are Scarborough applicants waiting 6 months since DM and still no signs of an Oath invite!
I don't know how long is waiting time for Regina, all I know is that no one in this forum (from Oct applicants) got an Oath invitation and the CIC site doesn't mention anything about future Oath dates.
Personally I passed the test on March 1st and today is May 1st.

I just did a calculation based on Google sheet: out of 269 Toronto/Scarborough/Mississauga applicants from October, only 26, or less than 10% have oath..
What’s your point? It shouldn’t really be more than that at this point.
