Also the thing that’s really annoying is people posting same comments in every October thread once they get off from phone with CIC. Can’t tell others what not to do but I just don’t get it.... :/

Wow Goku ..take a chill pill man… why so serious
Idea of posting was to inform other that what discussion was done..I indeed “just got off phone with cic”
You don’t have to tell other what do to as u do not have control over it but u can just keep quite and not type anything..u have control over that

It turns out reapply is a good choice. Some people have reported that they are told IRCC did lose their application! Some even contacted the MP and got the confirmation of loss.

Why do you have the firm believe that applications were lost when people are getting their AOR to date? What makes your application so important? I sent out my application on the 11th of Oct and was delivered on the 17 Oct, and with no AOR. It may take some time but eventually the AOR will come one day. Chill bro.

Mine is delivered on Oct 13. If yours is delivered on Oct 16 or after, please ignore what I say and wait in patience.

I'd really be curious how they can confirm the loss... especially through an MP. If it's lost, by definition they don't know where it is, so the only way to confirm it is to look for it in every place where it could be, which would take forever.
I don't even know why I'm wasting my time.

It is also possible that the courier lost the application. Even if they have tracking system the package may share the same scan code with many others and it's possible the package was mistakenly dropped during delivery.

Hello Y'all,
I have been following the threads for October from a distance and I can tell you some people are just loosing it. I don't know how they are going to make it till the end of this process and god forbid if someone gets a RQ!
I myself got an AOR after 45 days! and I have noticed how little my life has changed since then.

really how theys know they have losting your application - if is lost means they did not even opens the packet - so how they knows it was your application? without knowings the name of applicants since its already losting. it not makes too much sense. if any packet losting then they wills never knows whose applications was inside the packings right so they cannot providing confirmations whose applications are losting.

OMG, MP engagement was a joke, see those messages again.

Please stop spreading panic, and bad advices to this forum.

I've been reading this thread since I'm also one of the people who sent their application on the 13th but didn't get her AOR. You'd think that people can understand that when those still awaiting their AOR and CIC agents refer to a "lost" application, in this context it means sitting in the corner of a desk until someone realizes 6 months later that they forgot to process that one. Not that "I'm sure the guy took my file with him home and forgot it on the bus for everyone to read". But I guess it has to be explained to a few people who do not seem to understand the nature of the exchanges on this thread.

When people suggest call your MP or CIC it's probably so you get your request back in the processing train and not wait indefinitely until someone realizes that the application at the bottom of this pile should have actually been on top of that other pile. I don't think anyone is implying their file is now in a gutter in Sydney.
