I'm happy to report I landed last night (June 26) in Niagara Falls. Everything went smoothly. A very quick and painless experience.
Thank you all for the help and the advice during the past few months. I may not have posted too much, but I read you every day and felt less alone thanks to you all.
Good luck to those still waiting.
Cheers!

Good luck to all the remaining October applicants. For everyone who's about to complete
the landing, once again, here's a list of required and optional documents for

Hi guys, just wanna share a quick update on my PR card, received today in mail.....landed on June 9, the card was printed on July 22, which i think it is quite in line with the standard processing time on cic........but my hubby is still waiting for his, hopefully it won't take too long....we landed together though.....

all the best for the ppl who are still waiting.... just a bit more patience :D :D

Hi Guys,

Here is my status:

Applied on Oct 2013
Recieved fine number on Jan 2014
Recieved the MR request on April 15th
Recieved the RPRF fee request on April 30
Sent medical result and paid RPRF on May 15
Medical result updated on the CIC website on July second week
Since this week it says "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

I am not sure what went wrong?

There was no communication from them with regards to my application. DO I NEED TO BE WORRIED.

As i was expecting them to send me passport request as the next step.

Please reply.

Don't worry. Nothing has gone wrong. Usually it's Decision Made and then Passport request. You will receive your PPR in couple of days. Just give it some time.

Best of luck.

Hi, after a week after the doctor uploaded the medicals it went to Medicals received, and a week after that it changed to decision made, and a week after PPR flew in, and a week after I received my passport stamped. And I just landed tonight.

Yours will come soon. Keep your chin up and stay strong. Just give it some time.

OK guys,

Finally I landed at Peace Arch tonight. I walked, no car trip! The border control officer (officer at the counter) actually high 5 ed me when he found out I am doing a landing and showed me the way to the immigration desk and the officers who issued me my PR at the desk were fun, they were joking all the time going like:

You know man I don't feel like landing anyone tonight, can you come back tomorrow? And the other officer would look at him and say, you know what, yeah you're right let's just refuse to land him tonight. They went all the way like this to the end. They did everything and at one point they both stopped and stared at me and told me: you know, we're too tired to press the enter key on the computer to get it done. Let's do your landing tomorrow! So they were awesomely funny and amazing all the way and at the end one of them looks at the other one and says: we landed him! We actually landed this guy! At this point the other one hands me a Canadian Flag, reads out my rights as a PR to me and both of them welcomed me to Canada.

And there I was. The happiest man on planet earth.

I wish you all the best of luck. I wish you all the best of the best. I'm gonna hang out here for a while and try to answer threads and questions.

For now, I need to go to sleep and wake up satisfied tomorrow.

Keep your chins up, never lose hope and stay PATIENT!

Cheers,

Wow that's one of the best landing experience I've ever heard. Congrats on your PR :)
My landing was very quick. In and out in less than 10mins at Niagara Falls. I did not get a Canadian flag and they didn't mention rights of PR to me and no congratulation from them. I guess it happened too quickly to do any formalities. All in all I'm happy and it was a decent landing.
