Just received medical request for me, my wife and 18 months old son. I am confused does my son needs to go through medical as well?

App rcvd by CIO - 1-NOV-2013
AOR - 5-DEC-2013

Yes your son will also have to go through medical. But no pressure, the Doctor will mostly check him and report. For details, call the clinic.

Received our MR today. :o ;D

Application Received: October 25, 2013
Medical Received: May 8, 2013
Medical Appointment: May 29, 2013

Is there any panel physician in Calgary, Red Deer or Edmonton that has a much earlier availability? I actually have set this appointment in advance last mid april anticipating the wait times. Anyhow.. still feel blessed that finally we have received our MRs and we are one step closer. God speed to all of us.

Neo

You can book with Dr grunberg and check after every 1-2 hrs daily. I had booking for 14th May but I checked at 9:30 am that there is availability at 10:30 so I rescheduled and went. It was not much problem for me as I stay in downtown. Please check by yourself.

I want to know when CIC requests for RCMP or PCC then do they wait for documents and then send MR or RPRF or they can send other stuff
while you are working on to get those documents ........how it works ...........any pattern?

Depends upon what the document is. Request for PCC/RCMP does not hold up MR or RPRF but for an employer reference letter sure does.

I first got my MR, then RPRF after few days and most recently a RCMP request.

Hi guys!

It's my first time posting here but I've been an avid (and admittedly nervous) reader for the past few weeks.

About my file:
CIC Application received : 31-10-2013
AOR Received date : 03-12-2013

My e-cas status changed to "In Process" today (though it says they're working on my file since May 6).

Should I be worried that it takes them several days to review my file?

Well, I've just received RPRF request :) :) :) Yay!

Don't worry... My ECAS shows in process since a month

Hi All,

I tried to search the forum but came empty handed (maybe my search term is wrong though..) but I thought I ask the question here..
After you get your passport back with the PR visa issued, technically the last thing I need to do left is to land.

But let's say if I already live within Canada, at Vancouver for example.
In order to land, can I just drive through the border (peace-arch), and go get my PR card/status w/out having a US Visa?
Will the US border personnel give us a problem if we were to do that?

Thanks
XanderZ

Yes. You can. The US border personnel will not give you trouble.

You can check Toby's landing experience here:

Hello Toby,

Congratulations!!

Hi all,

Received PPR, email subjected as 'Ready for Visa'. I had completed my medical examination on May 2nd, 2013. Doctor's office must have uploaded the results sometime this week. Now I have replied that email requesting for visa to be printed outside Canada. Awaiting response, which should positively come sometime next week. Must say that I'm feeling very relieved, this is going to be a party weekend for me and my family :-)

Cheers!
