Got Visa request yesterday night .. Journey coming to end almost

Just got my medical request. Application received on October 30. Finally one step closer now.

CIC divided visa officers into 2 groups. 1 group is processing applications with new rules (applications reached on 8-NOV and after) and another group processing older applications. Therefore lot of applicants (mostly from last week of October and 1st week of Nov ) still not received MR but people applied on 2nd week of Nov started getting MRs. ---- Its just an assumption and trying to find an answer as I am waiting too ....

Is there any panel physician in Calgary, Red Deer or Edmonton that has a much earlier availability? I actually have set this appointment in advance last mid april anticipating the wait times. Anyhow.. still feel blessed that finally we have received our MRs and we are one step closer. God speed to all of us.

Chances are less since the verification is usually done before the medical requests..
