Hi guys,
So I am a silent lad on this forum. As you may have noticed in the spreadsheet I was the one who got rejected on 30th April because they calculated my days and it amounted to 339 days.
I received the email and I was so down and depressed to see all these years of my work, studies and experience has gone to waste. After couple of hours, I decided to pull out all of my documents and calculate the days again and again, I even asked my friends, family and lawyers to calculate my days. And it turned out that they are missing almost 3 weeks in their calculation.
So I took the rejection letter together with my record of employment to my local MP, they calculated and they said that I am right. They told me they are going to forward this info to CIC. I got back home and I said to myself what the heck! I'll Email CIC myself and will ask them nicely to re-open my file and calculate the days again. So I did.
All day long today I was just surfing around my local mall just to kill time and forget about what happened. I get back home around 6PM and surprisingly enough, they have replied to my email (in less than 24 hours) admitting that there was an error in the calculation and they will review my file. Well I got a little bit happy, not too much, just a little, just to see that at least they are admitting it. By this time I knew they will not change their decision, they will just put the file on review for god knows how long. And then it will come another rejection email.
After almost two hours. My lawyer calls me up and says: you know when you receive your medicals it's almost a done deal. And I said, yeah!? And he goes: check your inbox. Just couple of minutes ago they sent you the medicals. And there I was, completely speechless, staring at my mailbox with the Medicals email. I broke into tears.
OK let's not get emotional here, I'll cut to the chase, just wanted to update you on the weird spreadsheet actions under my name within these three days. I wish you all good luck, I wish us all good luck.
My story is a book. I will write a large post when I get my hands on the PR card. You will be amazed to know what I have gone through.
Cheers,
