Wouldn't make sense, but I guess if a name based search came up with results, it may be required? Not sure tho.

I asked because I saw an August applicant who was asked to provide FBI report within 60 days and people were saying that it could take at least 4 weeks( some people said its 12 weeks).

So I was thinking that maybe I can go a head and request one from now just in case they asked for it later. But then I thought that they might not actually ask for an FBI report because I didn't live in USA...

I am looking some clarification here, I am in INDAI. I have submitted my Application on 23-Oct and received my AOR-04-12-2013. At the time of Application submission, I have attached a PCC obtain from India which was taken @MAy-2013. Now My question is will the CIC again request PCC ?

I am looking some clarification here, I am in INDAI. I have submitted my Application on 23-Oct and received my AOR-04-12-2013. At the time of Application submission, I have attached a PCC obtain from India which was taken @ MAy-2013. Now My question is will the CIC again request PCC ?

I think It is not valid. PCC should be obtained in last three months. You obtained in 23 Oct and Application filed in May 2013, so I don't think it is valid. But wait till CIC requests for the new one. You can get PCC in one day, so it wouldn't be a problem.

To save time, I sent a recent PCC as the one sent with the application was 9 months old and got the confirmation that it was attached with my application . You can simply wait for CIC to ask you PCC. It is upto you.

congrats dude. ..I am very happy for you. I saw you were struggling becoz of PR thing but looks like all clear now..

also, i do not want any commitments right now. lets wait for pr and then i will be able to choose.

YES I know that fact....I lost some really good offers in the past, just waiting for PR to move to another company
and take a 30k$ jump with great benefits..that company told me to contact them once I have PR...

I am in the same boat.
I got PCI in Jan 2013 when I was in India for Vacation. I sent that at the time of application hoping that CIO will request the new one at the time of requesting AOR. But they did not. Now I am just waiting, I am pretty sure they will need a new one. Let's see when they ask for it.

I am a oct 2013 applicant.
I got my GCMS today.
Strange thing: My sponsorship is mentioned as : FAMILY CLASS AND REFUGEE
I applied under CEC.
Not sure which went wrong.
Pls advise
