While waiting for my AoR during the past few days, I have been going through various topics to read people's experiences and understand potential issues with my applications.
One thing that has stood out as very important is the reference letter and any supporting evidence documents. To be specific, one of the issues has been the reference letter not clearly mentioning the roles performed.
Some people have rightly submitted explanations in case their reference letters being like this, lack of which has resulted in applications being rejected. At the same time some people have been lucky enough with their applcations not being rejected, but further supporting documents asked for by the VO.
I am one of those people whose reference letter does not detail the roles performed as the company has a standard format and they will provide only that. I did not submit any explanation and am now anxiously awaiting the outcome of this.
I have read in other discussions that appealing a rejection is not quite fruitful. So instead of waiting for a potential rejection, I am planning to do this: (and would like to know what others in the forum think of it)
I plan to write to my VO immediately mentioning that I missed submitting the explanation and am sending it to them now. With this email I plan to attach explanations and other supporting documents.
Please let me know your views on this plan of action.
Thanks
