Hi folks, some questions,

FSW for 2014 will be opening next month with revised caps. Even though I am positive about my CEC app, there is some potential for trouble due to the reference letter issue. So I was contemplating whether to apply under FSW also since all the documents are ready as per the 2013 requirements except PCC. Any help with my queries below would be much appreciated,

1. In case I apply under FSW also, will there be any conflict with my CEC application?
2. My passport is expiring in Dec 2014. Should I apply for a new one right away or wait for CEC result ?
3. If the CEC outcome is positive, how much time do I have before I can withdraw the FSW application?
4. PCC is pending for the FSW application. Can I send in the available documents on May 1st itself and add the PCC later on when it is available?

I thought I will put these queries here even though questions are mostly related to FSW because, I currently have a live CEC application and the FSW application will depend on CEC's outcome. Please let me know if I still need to change the thread. Thanks in advance !

I received a mail from CIC so it is good, means thy are working on it but bad part is that they are asking PCC from South Africa where I stayed less than 6 month (3 days less than 6 month). I can't cross 6 month as Visa is for 6 months only. Are they right for asking PCC in case of less than 6 months?

Please let me know if any one got PCC from South Africa as CIC website has insufficient info.Website says-

Applicants should provide a bank draft with a completed fingerprint chart bearing the official signature and the stamp of local police to:

South African Police Service
Criminal Investigation Department
Private Bag X308
Pretoria 0001
South Africa

What would be cost of Demand Draft? How to get stamp from local Police?

The rule for 6 months in a generic rule but if CIC is asking specifically for a PCC then I guess you will have to submit it. And specially when its just 3 days short of 6 months I think their request makes sense.

I Provided all the passport pages to CPC by replying the same mail and explaining that I have Visa for 6 months so Stay can't be longer than that. In afternoon, I got a medical request. Now I am confused, Did they accepted my explanation and then issued MR or it is due to parallel process?

I have provided explanation with screenshot of Passport mentioning entry and exit dates. As a policy, My stay should be six months or longer, but my visa itself is for 6 months so I have to leave the country before that so I can't hit any of the condition. Still I am starting process for PCC in case one replies to get the PCC.
