Thanks mate. I am in the same boat. Still in process, no change to ECAS. So we'll see. I have put a deadline for myself which is June 20th. Hope I get it before that.

Hey guys!!! My partner got her Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CPR) today! However, under the application details, it says "valid to" sometime in 2015. I've read the paper about 6 times, and it appears to me that it means that she has to LAND by that date. She's worried that's how long her PR will be valid for.

She's stressed, but I am ready to celebrate. Is there any chance she won't get the full 5 years for her PR at this point?

Let me know if we need to be opening tons of beers, or tons of phone numbers for immigration lawyers!

She's freaking out (she still doesn't think it is real, which is why we're going at this exact second to land), but I'm excited. This is the END of a very long process! But, I don't have to tell you guys that...

Status changed to Decision Made Yesterday and waiting for PPR

There are many "same" boats. We keep jumping from one to another till we hit land. I just jumped from ur boat to another. These are just amazingly huge boats with a special power to hold people from going insane and losing patience.

I was talking to my neighbour this morning and she is waiting on her PR card, basically she is getting it extended. She applied for a new PR card in the beginning of April and she's still waiting. I told her that we too are still waiting and CIC has got so slow over the past couple of weeks.

Then she told me that apparently they have laid of some people there, 20 to 25, couple of weeks ago, she has got this sad news from a very trusted person, that's what she said.

So, I don't know, but it makes sense to me, the delay is not without a reason. Some workers are laid off.

Then again it might not be true. Thought I share this with you guys.
