Just got my PPR a few mins back. Felt so relief.
I have a question regarding the passport. I applied for US visa in 2012 and when I crossed the border they stapled my passport with a slip showed the date of entry and the type of visa I applied (i.e. Not the official visa stamp just a piece of paper got stapled to my passport). Should I remove that before sending my passport? Hope the question isn't too confusing.
Thanks!

Hi Robbie and canvan, is ur status in ecas changed to decision made or not yet?? Please advise

It only changed to 'medical received' this morning. I just checked it again and it's the same.

Can someone please answer my question whether I should remove the paper slip stapled to my passport when I crossed the us border in 2012?
Thanks and best of luck to the rest of us still waiting!!

Do not remove or through away ,submit to us authorities that is called I-94 property of united states, and do not think much about it just give it to them.they will give you another one by taking 6 dollars from you whenever you come to usa.its easy dont worry

Thanks for your input, but what do you mean by taking 6 dollars?
I still have the visa stamp which is not removable but that piece of paper seemed to be unnecessary since it showed the date of entry and the type of visa I applied. Is it weird that it didn't show the date I came back to canada?
Can someone who crossed the border with a US visa before comment on this?
Thanks!

Nice! Congrats to everyone that got their PP request yesterday. If you have sent your passport before Canada Post closed yesterday, you may have a lot of headstart.

According to Passport Return Timelines spreadsheet, last one in this forum who got their passport return tracker on was MFS on May 22nd. Passport was received by CPP Ottawa on May 13th. So it's better to send your passport asap~

From what I remembered, I-94 is a multiple entry document which has the entry date stamped and validity of 6 months. You need to return that document by mail/in-person before it expires. Whenever US Visa officers saw that expired document still attached to your passport, they will scold you for not returning that. Since then, I have always returned them before the expiry dates...

Received my PPR :)))))))

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Congrats for your PPR! When are you thinking of sending your passport?
