Give some time, its only 1 week. I got my status update after 2 weeks. My surrender is ready for collection since Sep 4. I am waiting for OCI to process so I can pick both up in same visit.

Well actually, tomorrow will be 2 weeks. I applied on August 31st.

Hoping to see some update by the end of this week.

Yes, that is normal. Takes a while for the status to appear on the OCIservices site.

Did you submit Surrender and OCI together or just OCI? If you submitted both, did you at least get your surrender certificate delivered?

There were some members who got processed pretty quickly.

Process for passport surrender and OCI completed in less than a month. Good luck everyone.

My daughter's OCI miscellaneous services application for passport update is finally complete!!

I just checked the status on OCI website and it says:
Your details have been updated in OCI records.

And I just got a confirmation email that Updated details including your new passport number xxxxxxxxxx have been taken on record.

Kudos to the Govt. for making this a gratis, hassle free and completely online process.

Has anyone gone through name change process on OCI card? Is it necessary to submit original citizenship certificate for name change? I have sent in my citizenship certificate for name change, but IRCC processing times have become 15 months. I had taken a notarized copy of certificate before sending it into IRCC, so I can submit the notarized copy to BLS if needed. Just wondering if anyone can share their experience of the name change process.
