You might have to provide your Application# (CANVxxx) and Passport# (Canadian)
YES i am using my proper passport and application no. in bls site i am using my dob n how come they show different person details??
today i didn't copy and paste the application and passport details, i just typed its showing the details. omg i realized my mistake. but i am worried about my application now since date of acknowledgement is 11th jan, but no news it says under process

My Daughters OCI application now shows acknowledged in OCI website and status is Under process . Does that mean the application is all correct or there is still chance of Consulate General office returning application due to any error or asking for additional documents .

I am about to surrender my Indian Passport at Brampton BLS center this Saturday. I had few queries on which I wanted your opinion so that BLS does not give any hard time. Also it will be helpful for someone in the future as well.
1. Place of Birth: In my Indian passport it is mentioned as "VillageName District, State". So in the Form where it says "Place of Birth (Village/Town/City)", Do I mention 'VillageName District' or Just 'VillageName'?
2. "Visible Distinguishing Mark" and "Legal Guardian Name": These fields do not apply to me. Do I need to Write "N/A" or "None" or "Leave it Blank"?
3. Present Address in Canada: My Driving License says "ON" as province. So While filling the form, Do I mention "ON" or "Ontario"?
4. Emergency Contact: After writing Person's name, Do I need to put "," and then Address? Or there is another way to fill that information?
5. Declaration Place: Do I need to mention "City,Province,Canada" or "City,Province" or just CityName?

I went to Mississuaga last week for walkin submission. This is how I did:
1. Place of Birth: City name ( as it has only City name in the passport, you can mention exactly as in your passport)
2. "Visible Distinguishing Mark" and "Legal Guardian Name": Left it blank.
3. Present Address in Canada: you can mention City, ON ( since there is no separate field for Province) Driver's license should have ON ,I believe.
4. Emergency Contact: Person's name, full address, postal code
5. Declaration Place: Just city name.
Don't be surprised if they still find any mistake and charge you to modify that on spot.

Hi all, does anyone have information missing from their address on their OCI? I just noticed mine doesnt have the city, province, zip code, and country - Place of Issue says Toronto, but that's it. Is that an issue or not really? Was trying to do search here but wasn't able to find a proper thread. Thanks!
On the OCI the first bio page Place of Issue is mentioned as Toronto
On the OCI the last bio page has the residential address mentioned under Address in India/Abroad
