Got Acknowledged on 6th December.
Is it still good for delivery before Jan 7th ?

Right now very tight as post-ack processing has delayed to 4 weeks from 3. But it may pickup back to 3 weeks (21 days) in which case you could just make it.

I have submitted an application yesterday at bls montreal and status on bls portal is "processing at high comission".
But there is nothing oci status inquiry screen.

Ack is oci or bls !

It takes about 20+ days after you submit the application, to receive acknowledgement on the OCI website

Not sure what happened but there are a bunch of entries missing on the Vancouver tracking sheet. One of them is mine.
Applied at BLS - Oct. 28 (Surrey)
Ack date at OCi- Nov.09
Spouse and daughter:
Applied at BLS-Oct.28 (Surrey)
Ack date at OCi- Nov.08
All 3 remain under process since Nov.09 at CGI

OCI application asks for a place of issue for passport. What is it for canadian passport? issuing authority or issuing country?

Place of issue will is show on the passport as Issuing Authority. Like Toronto, North York etc.

Hi Eas2lv I got counter delivery to BLs status update on BLS site, on Dec 8. My OCI processed date on OCI portal is on Dec 7.. My flight is on Dec 13th. I do not have purolator tracking id on BLS site. Assuming that BLS has already shipped it out (meaning which i can no longer pick it up from BLS), do you think i will receive the OCI on or before Dec 12 EOD (as my flight is on Dec 13 at 2pm).?
