mine is in dispatched state for last 6 days and has not reached BLS yet. I dont understand the incompetence here.

Probably BLs picks up only once in a while from HCI Ottawa -- just trying to find some logic, I haven't studied the data.

there is no dispatch date data in OTT sheet so not sure if they only pick it up on some specific day.

Is BLS Ottawa dispatching visa promptly once granted? -- at least that will tell whether they are picking up documents daily. Little data in the visa thread from Ottawa applicants.

Hmm that is a good question. May not be a bad idea as yours is coming very close to travel. I am not sure if they are open Monday either as its in lieu of remembrance day. Good luck friend, I would think exactly the same as you.

If you totally want to avoid flight changes, why not apply for entry visa to be on the safe side? Vancouver OCI processing has slowed down a bit and who knows what happens by end of the month. Those who follow Vancouver timeline closely may have more to say.

Its for any person of Indian origin or their spouse and children. Not just for emergency. Takes 1 week from application if walk-in about 2.5 to 3 weeks if postal.

My guess is I can hope to get it in Jan-Feb?
