OCI processed today 15 December. Acknowledgement date was 10 November so exactly 5 weeks. Dispatch and delivery pending. To clarify, I had sent a postal application to BLS Ottawa and sent no original documents, only self attested copies.

Passport details have to be from the Canadian passport. Where did you see that you have to put Indian passport details?

I did that when I renewed my passport last year and it was delivered home by Purolator. I did the same thing when I sent my OCI renewal. I included the Purolator receipt in my package. Hopefully it gets delivered the same way.

If you call up BLS 3 times, you will get 3 different answers

How do you upload the citizenship cert, surrender cert and proof of address? There is no section in the OCI application to upload this.

I've had this problem with Purolator many times. I specifically mentioned my condo buzzer code in the address but they still didn't ring me and just left a note to pick up my parcel the next working day.

Passport and SC delivered today. Should have been delivered on Friday but Purolator messed it up (as usual).

Yes it is normal. Ottawa is taking 8 weeks or more to issue the SC
