Hey eas2lv can you please suggest what should do . ?
My minor OCI acknowledged date is September 30 . Vancouver (Bls surely) and my travel date is October 10 . I should wait for Oci or apply for entrt visa

You mean travel date is Nov 10? Can't be Oct 10.. For Vancouver, you may just get OCI in hand by then, but somewhat uncertain. Applying for entry visa on Monday may also just make it -- depends on courier vs pickup and whether the process will keep up the current pace etc.. If walk-in is an option, I would apply for entry visa in this case. Otherwise wait for OCI and be open to re-scheduling travel, in case.

Based on limited data for Vancouver, 30 or 31st Oct.

do they keep passport for visa stamp or separate paper visa issued ? minor doesn't require biometrics right? i am planning to apply for 6 months entry visa.

Even for adults biometrics is required only for 5 and 10 year visas, isn't it? Otherwise how do they process postal applications.. If required, 12 years and older minors will need it, not just adults.

BLS says 'Under Process' for ENTRY VISA
My OCI status still says 'Processing at CGI'
OCI tracker says 'No record'- OCI app date is Oct 18 2023 Walkin Brampton

"I just spoke to @HCI_Ottawa HE Sanjay Kumar Verma who was very kind & considerate. For visas to Indo Canadians 70 pcnt is thru BLS in 9 cities & 30 pcnt walk in to Indian Comission & Consulates. there is back log due to visa suspension which shd get cleared soon and visas shd be granted in a 7-10 days from submission to BLS.
For emergency causes of death, serious illness, wedding etc please apply on Suwidha portal to nearest Indian consulate.
But it is our foremost duty to raise voice against fringe elements who are trying to spoil the atmosphere. Indo Canadians are suffering at their hands. Be proud of your indian roots."

Can someone help me in filling out the entry visa application as, I am stuck in one step. I recently got canada citizenship and travelled India before on Indian passport as was on PR status in Canada. In one of the step, they ask for previous visa/ currently valid visa details. Have you ever visited India before. If I select yes, then they ask previous visa details which I don’t have as I travelled before on Indian passport. Please advise what should I chose here. As In the next step they are asking for countries visited in last 10years.

Could be wrong but most of my updates are between 3-4 pm EST.

In Toronto I have seen most between 11 am to 12:30 pm EST and few late afternoon (will show with next day's date in IST). I do not think there is a precise time though -- hopefully they work whole day (Ottawa excepted.. lol..)
Those who do not want to check every 5 minutes, try 1pm EST and 6pm EST to give some time for data to sync (or only 6pm EST if just once per day) on local working days.
