Good Morning one query OCI card will be delivered and that time do some one needs to sign for that delivery or some one else can also receive that OCI card on behalf of me
Or it will come in normal mail box

No glitch, its dispatched ..not received today but may be tomorrow or Monday depends if its holiday tomrw for Purolator. Go ahead, they are doing it fast as they understand the urgency.
BLS lady said standard is 2 weeks but also said it will come early like 3 -4 days .

Why the call center agents always exaggerate the processing times. I thought BLS Counter ladies do the same as well. For OCI they told me it can take anywhere from 5-10 months lol

I have only 1 week left for our flight to india and minor oci application in process lost hope but recently show that its pretty quick to get entry visa.

Is it worth to try for entry visa?

I don't have appointment so if i choose to try need to go very very early i believe at bls brampton and specifically 60 Gillingham drive beacuse it's entry visa type?

Any one know is it same line up as 40 or not that much at 60 Gillingham?

The last I lined up at 40 was for Surrender Certificate on Sept 22nd I believe. I reached at 12:45 pm and there were 3 people ahead of me. They let me in at 1:15 pm. BLS Brampton’s 40 building. I absolutely had no idea people line up early morning and I went completely uninformed, so I guess I was lucky. But 60 was super crowded. Also now that entry visas have started, I don’t know how things change.

Then entry visa is your best bet. But with no of application increasing keep an eye on processing time and get some leeway if possible by rescheduling the travel dates.

On BLS site for toronto it says 45 days but on this thread someone said they got it print and process same day so curious and asked for suggestion if it's worth a try or no!

Yes there will always be first mover advantage and it will be great if they continue with the same speed for all.

Can anyone can suggest me should I have to apply for entry visa as still waiting for OCI card. I applied through Vancouver location. Inside lady’s said we don’t know the processing time of entry visa but on the website showes 30-45days. Can anyone update the timeline if applied through Vancouver? Please!!

Entry Visa Update:

Applied : 26th Oct at BLS Surrey (4 hours in lineup)
Processed : 27 Oct by evening.
Status on website : Your visa is Processed and Printed.
BLS Status: In Transit from Consulate General to BLS Centre

Should get it by tomorrow.

Hi how about the lineup in Surrey and what is the right time to go.. Please advise
