Acknowledgment 14 Aug
Processed: 6th Oct
Dispatched from Delhi: 6th October
Document received in Ottawa: No update yet.
Now it is stuck in this status since then.

Applied walk-in from Montreal. Ottawa jurisdiction. Did not opt for courier service.
Sorry about late update , I was so annoyed and it was giving anxiety so I stopped checking for a while and I only checked Bls tracking once last week.
I’ll be checking OCI status daily now.
Ottawa is really slow.

Also if it helps other people , I applied in person in Montreal on Aug 3. Acknowledgment- 14 august.

I tried there it on ociservices website but it says “no record found”. And on BLS tracking it says “under process” since I applied on Oct 5 2023

The status on BLS Website is showing “Underproces” or “Processing at Consulate General”

Mostly likely end of next week you should have your OCI or max start of week after that which is ~ 10 weeks.

You can try but I don’t think they would consider. Lets see what others think

I have heard that security themselves have told people to try any appointment and come. The only thing is visa appointment is for 60 building and OCI is done at the 40 building. Anyone else have experience with going in for a visa appointment for an OCI application at the Brampton BLS? My appointment is tomorrow so I'm kind of anxious.

I have surrendered my passport. Does anyone know that we can travel to India?
I don't have OCI[in progress] and no visa. Have a medical emergency.
