So here is my list of documents which I will carry, Could you pls check once in case I am missing anything?

Application form - Filled online and B&W printout (uploaded photo and signature will be printed) , need to fill Declaration page (Page 4 of the PDF) manually, and 1 Hard Copy of the Photo

7.40$ +courier fee will be paid by Debit at BLS centre

These days I see people are getting OCI within 4-6 weeks for those who submit in person at Toronto/Brampton

Hello Abbas.Pasha,


I have uploaded the pic and signature. it says successfully uploaded. however, when I printed out, picture is not in center (it shows little blank at right hand side through out the length of pic) and also below “signature” image it shows little blank (while color strip). I tried and uploaded the picture/signature through “OCI” Image Upload/Re-Upload” second time. Same result.


Later, I created new application and resubmitted. In preview (after immediate upload), both images are looks good and perfectly alright. Also, it says successfully uploaded. However final print, it’s same result (as mentioned in above paragraph) and If I go to “ OCI image upload/Re-upload” section it again shows everything is good.



What to do? Both the time it says you have successfully uploaded the images. Should I carry same print out? Whether they will accept it? If not, they will propose for new pictures at the BLS Brampton Center only?

Wait for either collection notification or delivery on the BLS tracker which should be within the next few days (not weeks)

Maybe you crop and resize the image first using https://imageresizer.com

They will give you a better feedback over the email.
I had similar issue with my wife's and kid's OCI, kept showing, Processing at Consulate for a while.
I wrote to them provided the Application# and Canadian Passport# and they replied within the same day, ke aake pick karlo
OCI for me was classic... We as a family of 4 applied for OCI, I did not pay for the courier and said will collect it from BLS Brampton when it is ready...
BLS waale itne prabhavit hue mujhse ke they couriered my OCI without even I paid for it

and then upload that image on the OCI portal

I resized it. 600*600 (Widh * Hight) for photo and for siganture 300*100. still the result is same? is that normal?
