mine is around that same date and no update whatsoever. Vancouver definitely seems to be stuck which is strange since why should the place of application matter.

Thankyou for the reply . Form 7 does not work for me as it says my EPIC is not in the profile, though i have the physical card in India(Not sure if i have to use Number mentioned in the physical card). I dont know how to deal with it. I saw that in Tried and tested youtube video to fill form 6 first and then form 7.

As far as BLS check list is concerned i already shared whats written in their website (In bold and highlighted). Its not clear what to pay whom? I know for $376 for OCI fee but there is not bifurcation of BLS fee is given. No clarity whether one DD to be made or separate. If you have any insight or link please provide.

If you going in-person BLS fees can be paid with Debit Card/Cash. DD is needed for Consulate fees.
$371+ ICWF Charge : $5 Total: $376
So DD of $376 in favor of "Consulate General of India – Toronto"

Vancouver applications takes around almost 2 and half months while other places processes applications faster

I’m just so tired of all these formalities, sent family member to local district office , they said they won’t remove the name on ration card untill election is over. For form 7 , still stuck on address issue,don’t know which address I should put, my family member don’t live on that address anymore which is on my voter id . Just so frustrating, they just made this new rule without providing proper guideline about how to complete both formalities.

Yeah it is very frustrating, everyone is stuck with this surprise. Thanks to the K-thugs, we have to bear it now.

You can find out the local BLO contact from the voters website. Then anyone from your family can do your voter id surrender in person to the BLO. Take the counterfoil part of hard copy form 7 signed by BLO. And off course I don't have to tell you, nothing moves without you grease somebody's palm.

Hi, I applied for my OCI card at BLS Toronto on Nov 2. When I check status on https://ociservices.gov.in/statusEnqury it still shows "No such record found". Any idea how long it takes to show up on the OCI website? Anyone with similar timelines had luck tracking it on the website?

I applied on November 1, 2024, and it shows up now on the OCI Status with an acknowledgment date of November 14, 2024. I have a flight booked for January 5, 2025, so I am hoping to have my OCI in December to avoid applying for a Visa.

Please keep me posted if you have any updates or if anyone with a similar timeline knows whether we will get the OCI on or before mid-December.

I am from Maharashtra where state elections are happening now. My mom had called the helpline number to enquire about voter id surrender in person and they told her to wait untill the state elections are over and then come in person. She said they sounded helpful.

Finally mine changed yesterday to Printed on Nov 19th 2024. It is not yet received at BLS. The card is still at the consulate.
Ack date was Sep 11th. So you will have to wait for a few more days.
