OCI - Married in India, Divorced in Canada - Need Help

we are permanent resident of Canada(2023)and she lives in Canada and I left the Canada within 2 months coz she change her mood after getting PR card,
so is this possible she can applied for divorce in Canada without my consent or presence, is it possible she can get divorce in Canada?? coz Canada has no fault divorce process
And if she get then it is valid for India or Apply for OCI

For the OCI, I wanted to understand what documents would be required for a divorced person. I got married in India but got divorced in Canada. I was reading somewhere that I need to get the Divorce certificate notarized, get it attested from ministry of ontario and consulate general of india. Is this correct? Any other document required? alsp now reading some comments in the forum that just the divorced certificate issued is sufficent. Very conufusing.. Can anyone please help

Hi, I was married in India and divorced in Canada (it was a mutual divorce). Now, my passport is going to expire soon, when I went to the BLS office, they said I could not apply for it because I am not eligible because of the new updates that your divorce certificate must be from India if you were married in India as Indian Consulates are not accepting Divorce certificates from Canada. But I don't have much time to go to India, is there any solution ?? If anyone knows the answer, please help me.

Ask the consulate. They are better informed.

I have another question regarding divorcee for OCI application. Do I need to upload the divorce certificate for online application under the 'Marriage Certificate' dropdown menu? Or just submitting offline along with an online application is enough.
