I'm in Prince Edward Island but since there isn't a CIC office here I believe files are processed through Halifax after they've been in Sydney.
My time line: AOR October 30th, 2013. In Process March 11, 2014. Don't need to do the test due to age I telephoned Sydney for the first and only time back at the beginning of May and was told that everything looked clear, the file is in Halifax and that they are now just waiting for documents to be verified. I'm hoping beyond hope that I get to be one of the July 1st Oath takers here in Charlottetown. Yeah for Canada Day, what a wonderful way to remember becoming a citizen. Good luck to you.

I had my test done the last week of may ... cic website is showing that there will be ceremonies on the 25,26,27 of june and july 1 . Let s hope we ll get a notification soon. Actually I was wondering .... do u guys think that the officers that interview u on the test day are the persons in charge of ur file?
Yes, I am aware of those ceremonies. I called the call center last week, and was told that my file has not yet been updated with test scores or anything else.

Wondering if there's still a chance to get called in for July 1st. I'm so tired of waiting and wondering. Mine is a really straight forward case (as far as I know). I've been in Canada for way longer than required, am over 55 so don't have to take the test, have been a model citizen, full time employed for a very long time, volunteered for years in the community - what else would it take to prove my commitment to Canada? I think I need to hear some good news stories from others to make me believe the system isn't bogged down and going backwards.boasorte said:

and I'm waiting for oath. I searched for people who applied in Halifax on October 2012. I found that they did the oath in September 2013.
Based on that, I think we will have the oath sometime in September 2014.
I also found that they had a ceremony each week in September 2013.
I think that the people who are doing the oath on July first are the people who did the test on March and before.
I'm thinking to go to the ceremony on July first ask the people about the dates they applied and did the test.
