How do you know files was assigned, was through ATIP report?

My file was also assigned to an officer on Janauary 15th.

Mailvdutt - in my case I received the CIT form in the mail and the name of the officer is on the letter. Some people find it out by calling CIC.

I found out that file was assigned to office on 14th Jan 2015 through ATIP. Also my RCMP clearance expired and was requested on 10th Jan 2015.

Guys I'm slightly worried I forgot to mention my nick name on my application. Now they asked for t4 slips from past employers from 2008 and there I had a different name.

I still provided them the t4 with a note explaining.
do you guys think this is a problem? or is it not?

I'm not sure about the timelines but my file was also assigned to an officer on Jan 14th 2015. I have a special needs child and another kid along with mine. Lets hope all our applications are done ASAP.

thanks
Hi Balajir,
I also have a child along with my application. I just wanted to ask u whats your local office and whats your timeline? For me its been 36 months since applied and still waiting for oath...last week i called CIC and they said that my file has been transferred from St.Clair office to local office (Mississauga) do u think thats a good news? Thanks in advance!

How could your application be 36+ months when you applied 03/09/2013? Am I missing something here?

My file was initially at Scarborough office and then sent to St.Claire because of RQ. I'm guess if the file is forwarded to the local office, then it should be just a question of scheduling oath unless any clearances are expired.

Hope for the best and I'm sure your getting there. final step for oath. My guess at the most by May you should have your oath.

No buddy that timeline is for sponsorship...
And thanks Balajir!

Today I spoke with CIC Call Center and they tells me my application has been approved on Feb 15, 2015 and will be send from St. Claire office to Mississauga office for oath. Any suggestions how long it will be to receive oath letter?

My time line:
Applied in Aug 2012
Started processing Jan 2013
Received RQ in Apr 2013
Replied to RQ in May 2013
Test passed March 25, 2014
File sent to Misiisauga 15th Feb 2015
waiting for oath..... soon?!?

My last ATIP report hasn't come yet, and it has been almost 35 days. Can they refuse to release those files to applicants? Has any of you encountered such an issue with respect to the CIC's ATIP files?

On my ATIP I have a new note from Jan 22th 2015:
"RQ has been assessed short FPAT on file, applicant has been approved and granted. File has been sent to CIC Scarborough for ceremony. NA /CEN /ON"
What does mean NA /CEN /ON? Does short FPAT may delay scheduling an oath?
I'm trying to estimate the oath date, I guess it would be around a 3 months from the day of approval..
Should I expect a next note on ATIP saying that the file has been received by Scarborough?

@Ryan14 I've requested an ATIP on Feb 4 and got it on March 8th.

--------------------------------------------------------------
Application Received: 13-June 2012
Processing started: 22-Nov 2012
RQ sent back: 15-Jan 2013
Citizenship test: 20-February 2014 @ St Clair
Local Office: Scarborough
Oath: Soon
