My 35-month long is journey over. I am scheduled for oath on 5th May in Mississauga.
Highlight of my application:
Applied: June 2012, (1100+ days residency)
First RQ returned: Nov 2012
Second RQ returned: May 2013
Wrote Test: Mar 2014
Third RQ (documentary evidence) returned: Mar 2015
Oath date: May 5, 2015

Hi,
I just received the letter. it's white, not the pink version that many received in the past. Nonetheless, the letter has all information asking me to bring all original records, and a holy book to swear oath on 2015-05-05 at Mississauga CIC Office.

I enjoyed all of your informative postings though the experience was not encouraging. We, who haven't left Canada for good after sending application will get final invitation sooner or letter. If you think your case is clear and still in process, sending all records what CIC have asked us to provide again and again, will not be a bad idea. Highlight your bank balance, credit record, and speak with CIC agents cordially.

Thanks to everyone, specially BalajiR, Canadiandesi2006, janoo, Rayan14 who have been vibrant in this immigration forum for the last one year or more, encouraging others to live and cherish the dream, hope and faith we had before coming to this country.

Any idea how long does it takes after file is assigned to officer at St. Clair office.
RQ was replied in Feb,2014 and Test was done July,2014.

That is the big unknown, I would say 3 to 5 months even though there are people in this forum that have been waiting since October/November 2014.

Received: May 10, 2012.

Process application: Oct 25, 2012.

Residence questionnaire requested CIT 0171 (09-2012) E version : Nov 30, 2012.

Residence questionnaire sent: January 9, 2013.

1st Fingerprint Request: January 24, 2013.

1st Fingerprint sent: February 11, 2013.

Text Exam: February 7, 2014 and passed at St Clair office.

2nd Fingerprint sent: February 11, 2014.

2 Mini Residence questionnaire requested CIT 0520 (07-2014) E version : December 17, 2014

File assigned to officer: December 17, 2014

Additional documents sent: March 14, 2015

Oath Ceremony: ??????

Hi,

Just wanted to share my experience here:
Applied in Oct. 2012
Passed my test from Hamilton office in Nov 2014
After that test received RQ in December 2014
Replied RQ in Jan 2015
Then CIC Officer told me that my file has been transferred to St. Clair office in March 2015
File review started at St. Clair office on 21 April 2015.
Waiting for my good luck
Anyone can tell me how long it takes to review file (RQ) at St. Clair office?
