My file was moved to Mississauga and test results we uploaded on 25th April.

Honestly this is so frustrating and annoying. I want to go on vacation they cant keep me hanging by not giving the Oath date.. If I miss the oath they will close the file..WTF am I suppose to do.

my local office is Scarborough. I took my test at the same date you did.
My file move to LO on 21St April and waiting for oath letter from then.

I have planed to go back home and I have no way to wait for the oath letter.

Folks I had my test on Feb 20th and nothing yet although I was told by the officer during the interview it will take 4-6 weeks max 8 weeks I am in 13 weeks now and no oath letter!!! I want to travel too for work purpose but I cannot!!! Is this fair, logical???

With all due respect to fellow RQ'ers agony, I have difficulty connecting with "cannot travel" complaints. Unless one neglects to properly apply for PR renewal, we are free to travel. You need to let cic know ( I believe 2 weeks in advance) about travel arrangements, so they won't book exam/interview for you during that period. We have no reason to believe that they will be cross and subsequently refrain from booking you an exam, just because you are travelling.

As per "urgent Citizenship grant" : same conversation occurred on these pages within the last 48 hours, and someone rightfully commented "you want citizenship and you want it urgent because you want to leave Canada to work?" Are you serious?

Strangely, even after passing the tests months back, the results are NOT uploaded on the system. Unless the CIC folks never heard of something called "Computers and its benefits".

Better they employ high school kids in summer to help them overcome their mental blocks ....called streamlining the work processes.

Probably its good idea if we highlight our plight to "The Star" newspaper and request them to focus some light on working of CIC, especially the St.Claire Office. Waiting in dark is tough for everyone, CIC has no system nor its agents got a clue what's happening.

My test was in march 27, 8 weeks passed nothing so far. They are following their "Standard Procedure". You know what it is. ;D

I have a question regarding this, when we inform cic/call centre about travel, do we get some kind of confirmation # for the call or any interaction ID or something because if something happens how are we to relate that we called and informed in advance?

Hi esteem,

Having waited for years, without any option I can still wait. Its terrible, there are candidates waiting for over 51 months in dark. Its beyond comprehension how can such an important organization work so callously and insensitive to thousands of candidates.

Unless the authorities are deliberately delaying the process for reasons best known to them only. Call center agents are clueless in most of the cases with few exceptions, where they've provided accurate details.

I wish the authorities take note of our collective concerns, expedite the pending cases with systematic approach, keep candidate informed by making it "Real Online". Wish all the waiting candidates best of luck.
