My feeling is that CIC open (just in the website) many ceremonies but in fact there is no ceremony.
They do so to show they are working hard and fast!!!

haha. The best way to know is to be there. If you have this suspicion you should really attend all the oath ceremonies and report back. The addresses are all on there. Because in my opinion this statement is just so ludicrous. 8)

good suggestion farrous13, I already somehow verified it in Quebec City, you check CIC website for "Regional itinerant services", Quebec had to be in service from May 26 - 30. But this has never happened. Instead the the week after CIC was here and had citizenship ceremony in fifth of June. Anyway I can not extend this example to conclude they just show off but as a human it is my feeling. I hope I am wrong!!! Then I get oath letter soon ::)

I agree with you jimmysky... Why do we have to wait. We would not be discussing...
At least one person in this forum would say yes I got it and prove us wrong...
..

Voilà the bill C24 got the Royal Assent yesterday...
Now we would have to watch out its impact on applications in progress...

My wife received RQ today. :(

She passed her test on April 15. I hope that you don't get this stupid letter.

She went on vacation 3 times during the 3 years, and works part-time.

Good luck all.

No news for me so far. I had test at March 26, 2014. I just keep waiting. I have a summer trip to go. just keep eyes to it. and check status every day.

I had citizenship test on February 25 2014 at Montreal and I passed, I´m waiting for oath ceremony, CJ hearing, 2nd RQ, Refusal or whatever.

Most likely whatever :)

Another discrepancy in CIC website: roughly in May they opened a ceremony in Levis Canada day. In the first week of June they asked all the test attendees in Quebec City whether they want to have ceremony in Montreal or Quebec city. As far as I know we all asked for Montreal since they claimed it would be sooner. Therefore, I think, in the last update they remove that ceremony ( http://www.cic.gc.ca/citcer/search-recherche-eng.aspx ) BUT the ceremony comes back again in Canada day ceremonies (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/celebrate/ceremony-map/ceremony.asp). It seems that they keep canceled ceremonies in their website. One can believe that all Montreal ceremonies will not be hold, they were canceled but they keep them in the website!!!
