RQ makes us delayed.

I doubt it, if you check the spreadsheet you'll see that some people who got a RQ had their ceremony a few weeks after the test

Yep, there is 31 ceremonies this month in Montreal :)

Great news, Hope I get the oath this month so I can save money. I am in calgary now. Returning to Montreal in 3 days. But then moving back permanently this month on the 28th.
Crossing my fingers :)

I believe if applicants don't get the oath next week, they will probably not get invited to the oath on the 1st of July. I believe a 2 week notice to the oath date is reasonable. But hopefully. Fingers crossed :D

No problem, my friend. I had my test at March 26, 2014.

But the CIC does not issue the oath notice in the order of test time.

I have the feeling they are holding back until the new law is approved :'(

Interesting you mentioned that. What's the correlation? We already had the test.

Hi, I am new to this forum, which I been following since many weeks. I have passed my test with note of 20/20 here in Montreal on 26th March 2014. Still waiting for oath ceremony.

I noticed many who passed their test in the month of April 2014 have already got invitation for Oath.

I tried to call every alternate day CIC call center. But I get reply that it's with Citizenship judge since 28th May 2014. And all background check have been done

My question is how long does it take CJ to give his approval.

And waiting is so long...

Thanks,

Thanks,

The officer told me the judge will make his decision in 2 weeks, I got my ceremony exactly after 2 months from my test.
I hope this helps.

Thank you. But if I calculate since 28 May CJ has my file that's two week by now.
I keep my fingers crossed.
Since CIC notifies two weeks in advance before oath ceremony.
And also 24 June is holiday they should send oath ceremony latest by next week. For 1st July date.

Thanks,

There are three of us (liu7676, Mtljuly2014, and I) who did the test on March 26th and are still waiting. Myself, I got pre-test RQ a long time ago (applied in May 2011).

My file is with the judge since end of April, I learned this from ATIP notes.

I'll keep your guys posted of any news.

(edited for typo)

Even me I am pre-test RQ recipient.

I called almost every alternate day since 28th May. To find out the status.

Is this good for my file. I mean do they keep call logs? Number of calls received...

Sorry I keep asking myself a lot of questions.

I found in the spreadsheet that one person who passed the test on 26th March got the date for oath.

I find it hard to understand on what bases CIC Montreal treats each application.

Thank you all for your support.
