I understand your frustration. I just meant that the sarcastic "Amazing country" is uncalled for. This is solely the problem with the immigration policy and CIC. That's why I said if you don't like the country then simply don't apply for its citizenship. I applied because I like the county and its people.

Criticizing how things are handled in the country doesn't mean I don't like the country. If I don't like it, I would just pack up and go. I am not there. In short I hope things improve with the new government. Cheers!

I called CIC on Wednesday and asked for an update but as usual they told me they can't give an update till the processing time limit has been passed.

But on Thursday I got the letter and my oath is on 24 November

Can't believe I am at the other end now. Best of luck to those still in it!

Don't worry you will get it soon! I was in the same situation a week or so ago, and I know it is frustrating but I got there and you will soon!

I gave my test in July and just got my invitation for oath. I've heard from a CIC agent that their aim is to process all cases that were submitted before April of this year by March of next year and that was on their website also I think. Hang in there...
